Pierre Deransart (1945) is Engineer and Doctor es Science in
Computer
Science
of the univerity of Bordeaux (1984), presently Research Director at
INRIA-Rocquencourt in the "Contraintes" group.
He has been working in the fields of hydrology (in Brazil),
ergonomy, library
automation,
compilation, attribute grammars, algebraic specifications, logic
programming,
programming environment and his present researches concern environments
for
constraint programming and modeling of traces.
He co-published several books, the most recent one with M.
Hermenegildo
and
J. Maluszynski (eds): Analysis and Visualization Tools for Constraint
Programming, Springer-Verlag, 2000, edited as a result of the european
DiSCiPl
projets (1997-2000) which he managed.
Pierre Deransart has managed the French RNTL project OADymPPaC:
(2001-2004) Tools for Dynamic Analysis and Debugging of Constraint
Programs.
